Wow! Joel M. Andre does it again! Well, technically, this has been released for a long while but I'm just getting to it, and I am GLAD!!! This is another of Joel's trademark dark comedy stories and I am so happy to have read it!!Bambi's not your typical everyday girl....she's a vampire. And she's in love with a cute guy. There's just one problem. He's not a vamp and the power within her is VERY hard to reign in and control. She's got to learn what it takes to control that power and show her love for her crush....with out killing him.
This 12 page story is a fast, intriguing read for those that love the vampires and horror element. While not overly horrific, it still incorporates the eeriness and blends with the humor that will make you think "seriously?". This definitely a 5 Book worthy short story that will appeal as a great in-between read for paranormal/vampire lovers every where! Don't miss out on your chance at a fabtastically written short story!

I absolutely love vampires and this was the first story I read by Joel M. Andre. It offers dark humor and a sense of enchantment at the same time. I like how it sort of ties together the background to Valley Vampire as well.
For a vampire called Bambi, Valentine's Day sucks. However, she gets a chance to spend some time with Kyle Walker, on whom she has a crush. Will he be able to accept her, and love her as a vampire? Or will her nature get the better of her, leaving him drained of blood?
Joel M. Andre is a new find, and a very nice guy. When I contacted him - after buying his Pentacle of Light series and the first book in the Black Chronicles, he sent me this short story in thanks. He wasn't expecting a review, but I decided to give him one anyway. This is a really fun little story and Andre manages to fit a lot of story into just a few pages. This is for fans of vampire stories - and I don't mean the "new" vampire stories, with sparkling, ennui-bedeviled vampires - I mean, REAL vampires - you know, the ones who like to suck your blood! You should totally check this one, if this is you!
